Erika Costell has conquered pretty much every social platform so joining OnlyFans was the next natural step.
However, fans shouldn’t expect anything too X-rated from the YouTube star who refuses to do nudity. Instead, she hopes to break the stigma which is that the adult platform has to be centered around sexuality.
Erika launched her OnlyFans channel earlier this month after being inspired by Bella Thorne’s success story – the former Disney star became the first person to earn $1 million just one day after joining and took home $2 million in her first week.
Bella had managed to do without stripping off and it gave the business-savvy Erika food for thought.

‘I saw Bella Thorne got on there and Pia Mia and those are people I really look up to and it’s really cool that they had the balls and nerve to get on there to break that stigma, and I want to be a part of that,’ Erika told Metro.co.uk.
‘Like, oh if Erika’s on there, it must not be as bad as they say. I’m trying to make it more comfortable for people that are scared of joining.’
The Savage x Fenty model amassed 24,000 fans in her first week of joining OnlyFans and has already seen how it’s possible to make the big bucks like Bella.
She explained: ‘Oh my goodness, yes I do. On my platform content so far it’s been very structured and planned out so for me, the fans who wanted to see music or any specific thing instantly that’s what they got and they feel special.
‘They’re not necessarily mad they’re having to pay. I can now see things that nobody else can see.’
Erika, who rose to prominence after dating Jake Paul, added: ‘I think I’m at 24,000 fans in a week and if you think about that, everyday you’re messaging with every single person, they’re on your page, they can see the interactions so the money on OnlyFans is very possible in many different ways.
‘There’s so many ways to make money on there and you don’t have to get on there and look for porn. I’ve seen people do business paid seminars on there.’
The 28-year-old admits that she initially subscribed to the stigma of OnlyFans being a place for sex workers only.
She explained: ‘I first heard about it back in February and it was like, oh porn! So everyone had that stigma and I recently have done so much research on it.
‘When I launched, my audience was like what the hell. It’s the most unexpected thing to come out because everyone still has that stigma.
‘I’m trying to show them, you go here if you want to see what happened after the Grammys or Teen Choice Awards that wasn’t tied up beautifully and put on YouTube for family audiences.’
The model added: ‘So I really wanted OnlyFans to be that separation of content where I could be myself and not have to hold back who I am just to try and filter that from young kids.

Erika’s growing empire doesn’t stop at OnlyFans as she’s also working on a podcast with Amanda Seales due for 2021 and has teamed up with Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr to launch record label BIA Entertainment.
