An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an Apprentice Business Support Administrator sitting within the Business & Environmental Services Business Support Team.  

We are incredibly supportive of the Apprenticeship Programme and have a proven track record; many of our apprentices have thrived and progressed within the organisation into permanent positions and higher graded roles.

As an Apprentice Business Support Administrator, you’ll be committed to undertaking and completing Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration over a 12-month period. You will receive on-the-job training as well as time to study.

Duties will include:

• Updating electronic filing systems / document management

• Liaising with customers

• General administration

• Incoming and outgoing post

• Data entry/logging information/processing data

• Pool car administration

• General telephone / email queries / reception

• Scanning and photocopying duties

• Processing invoices

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they are motivated and have good communication and customer care skills. Accuracy and attention to detail are also important. You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection, Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
